The acquisition represents a full-circle moment for Slipstream founders Dan Demole and Jesse Korwin, who previously led Jingle Punks before establishing Slipstream in 2021. The deal brings together:
- Jingle Punks: Production music agency
- 5 Alarm Music: North America's largest independent production music library
- Cavendish Music: UK's oldest and largest independent production music publisher
Slipstream will expand its services to serve content creators across all media platforms, from social media creators to global enterprises. The platform combines creative capabilities with technological innovation to streamline music licensing for TV, film, advertising, gaming, and social media.
As part of the transaction, Anthem Entertainment will maintain involvement through an investment in Slipstream. The strategic move aligns with Anthem's focus on its core music publishing and recorded music divisions while ensuring its production music assets continue under experienced leadership.
The acquisition was facilitated by Pollen Street Capital, with Moelis & Company serving as the exclusive financial advisor to Anthem Entertainment.
