
Snowflake Hackers Behind Ticketmaster and AT&T Breaches Face Federal Indictment
Two cybercriminals have been indicted for orchestrating the massive Snowflake hack that affected 165 corporations, including Ticketmaster and AT&T. The suspects, Connor Moucka and John Binns, face multiple charges for their sophisticated cybercrime operation.

The hackers accessed protected networks between November 2023 and October 2024, stealing billions of sensitive customer records including:
- Call and text history records
- Banking and financial information
- Payroll records
- DEA registration numbers
- Driver's license numbers
- Passport numbers
- Social Security numbers
- Personal identification information
During April-May 2024, the duo breached Ticketmaster's cloud computing systems, later attempting to extort the company by threatening to leak customer data. They posted stolen sample data on cybercriminal forums, including customer account numbers and addresses.
Moucka was arrested in Canada in October 2024, while Binns operated from Turkey. They face multiple charges including:
- Wire fraud
- Securities fraud
- Conspiracy to commit fraud
- Unauthorized computer access
- Data theft
- Privacy violations
If convicted, the suspects face potential sentences of 5-25 years per charge, totaling over 60 years of imprisonment.
