Q Prime will oversee marketing, distribution, and licensing for The Zombies' new label imprint Beechwood Park Records. The partnership includes plans for four definitive physical re-issues in 2025, starting with a remastered version of Odessey & Oracle featuring classics like "Time Of The Season" and "Care of Cell 44."
The reissue coincides with the release of "Hung Up On A Dream," a documentary directed by Robert Schwartzman and co-produced by Utopia Films, The Ranch Productions, and Tom Hanks' Playtone.
The band's surviving founding members - Colin Blunstone, Rod Argent, Chris White, and Hugh Grundy - along with Paul Atkinson's widow Helen, recently acquired their catalog rights from Marquis Enterprises Ltd. The catalog includes hits like "She's Not There" and "Tell Her No."
The historic recordings, including Odessey & Oracle (recorded at Abbey Road Studios for just £1,000), will be remastered from original tapes. Chris Tuthill of The Rocks Management notes they chose Q Prime to maintain the band's independent spirit that has helped their music continuously reach new generations.
Q Prime maintains offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, and London, with full label creative and digital marketing teams.
