
Ticketmaster Donates £60,000 to Support UK Grassroots Music Venues
Ticketmaster has donated £60,000 ($75K USD) to Music Venue Trust (MVT), a UK charity representing hundreds of grassroots music venues. The donation comes from the company's optional fan donation program, where Ticketmaster matches each pound contributed by ticket buyers.

Ticketmaster Donation to Venue Trust
Over the past two years, Ticketmaster has contributed more than £150,000 ($187K USD) to support grassroots live music. These funds are directed to MVT's Pipeline Investment Fund, established in 2022 to support UK music venues, artists, and promoters.
The Pipeline Investment Fund has raised and allocated over £5 million ($6.25M USD), including more than £500,000 ($625K USD) specifically for grassroots music venues infrastructure. The fund initially started with donations from ticket sales of MVT's 'Revive Live' program.
Andrew Parsons, Managing Director of Ticketmaster UK, highlighted partnerships with iconic venues including Epic Studios, Hackney Church, Alfies, The Piano Bar, Soul Mama, and Y Plas nightclub. He emphasized the company's commitment to supporting grassroots music venues long-term.
Mark Davyd, CEO of Music Venue Trust, expressed gratitude for Ticketmaster's support, noting that these donations are crucial for venues struggling to maintain operations.
