YouTube Teams Up With CAA to Combat AI Deepfakes of Major Talent
YouTube is partnering with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to develop AI deepfake detection and removal tools, giving talent more control over their digital likeness.
The collaboration will provide CAA talent with early access to technology that identifies and manages AI-generated content featuring their likeness. Initial testing will begin in early 2024 with CAA's roster of actors and professional athletes from the NBA and NFL.
Key features of the new tool include:
- Detection of AI-generated content featuring talent's likeness
- Streamlined process for submitting removal requests through privacy complaints
- Enhanced controls for managing digital representations
