50 Cent Files $5 Million Lawsuit Against Jeweler Over Unauthorized Use of Image on Counterfeit Chains
Rapper 50 Cent has filed a $5 million lawsuit against celebrity jeweler TraxNYC for allegedly misusing his likeness to sell counterfeit chains. The lawsuit claims trademark infringement and violation of publicity rights after the jeweler created TikTok videos suggesting an association with the rapper.

Maksud Trax Agadjani, owner of TraxNYC, posted multiple social media content featuring 50 Cent wearing jewelry and directly tagged him. In one controversial video, Agadjani openly admitted to copying the rapper's style, stating "We just jocked your style... I'm watching your shit and jocking your shit."
Prior to legal action, Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) warned the jeweler via social media about the consequences of these actions. His representative emphasized that Jackson takes unauthorized commercial use of his identity very seriously.
After the lawsuit was filed, Trax publicly requested Jackson to drop the case, appealing to forgiveness. However, Jackson remained firm in his position, particularly criticizing the jeweler for copying his custom piece and using his likeness for sales.
The lawsuit seeks damages of no less than $5 million, to be determined at trial.
The case has been filed under docket number 1:24-cv-07700Jackson v. Agadjani.
