Blockchain-powered smart ticketing startup Celebratix has secured $1.15 million (€1.1 million) in funding to fuel its international expansion efforts.

Founded in 2022 by Frank Roskam, the Amsterdam-based platform leverages Solana blockchain technology to provide enhanced ticketing control, security, and marketing capabilities. The platform currently handles approximately 40 events monthly, including Amsterdam nightclubs and festivals like Multigroove.

Celebratix has already launched in Germany and plans to expand into Scandinavia and the UK. CEO Frank Roskam, 26, believes the company is well-positioned to challenge established players like Ticketmaster by offering superior control over sales and data while combating ticket fraud.
