
Desert Diamond Arena Undergoes $42M Transformation Into Arizona's Premier Music Venue
Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona is undergoing a $42 million transformation to become the state's premier music and entertainment destination. The renovation project, set for completion by Spring 2025, is being executed by ASM Global in partnership with Forward Associates and design firm HOK.
The comprehensive renovation includes:
- Nearly 25 redesigned spaces throughout the venue
- Enhanced guest facilities and accommodations
- New immersive fan experiences including Floor Bar and Studio 623
- Reimagined suite options and premium spaces
- Updated Marketplace for elevated culinary offerings

The arena is strategically located within a 250-acre entertainment complex that includes:
- State Farm Stadium
- 13 hotels with 4,000 rooms
- Westgate Entertainment District
- Desert Diamond Casino
- 26,000 parking spaces
- Convenient freeway access
Post-renovation, the venue will feature:
- 19,000 concert seating capacity
- 53 luxury suites
- 12 suite lounge loges
- 22 Encore Club Theatre Boxes
- 14 Club Studio 623 booths
- 341 Club Seats in The View
"This transformation positions Glendale as a premier entertainment destination in the Southwest," says Glendale City Manager Kevin Phelps. The project aims to attract diverse audiences and establish new standards for concert venues in the region. ASM Global plans to use this renovation as a model for future venue transformations across the United States.
