Instagram Rolls Out New 'Add to Spotify' Feature for Easy Music Saving
Instagram and Spotify have partnered to introduce a seamless way to save songs directly from Instagram to your Spotify library. This new integration allows users to discover and save music while browsing Instagram Reels.
Adding Instagram songs to Spotify
How to Use the Feature:
- Watch a video on Instagram Reels
- Tap the song information button
- Click the new "Add to Spotify" button
- The song will be automatically saved to your Spotify library
Important Notes:
- Songs are added to both 'Liked Songs' playlist and 'Your Library'
- Feature works on iOS and Android
- Requires latest versions of both apps
- Spotify account must be linked to Instagram
- Currently only available for Spotify (not other music services)
This integration aims to strengthen the connection between artists and fans by simplifying music discovery through social media. The feature mirrors similar functionality already available on TikTok, which allows users to save songs to various music streaming platforms.
