Kid Rock Partners with Trump AG Nominee to Tackle Concert Ticket Industry Reform
Kid Rock recently met with Trump's Attorney General pick Pam Bondi to discuss reforms in the live concert industry, particularly focusing on ticket pricing and accessibility issues.

The meeting addressed several key issues plaguing the concert industry:
- Excessive ticket prices for major tours like Taylor Swift's Eras Tour
- Widespread use of ticket-buying bots (available for as little as $50)
- Scalping practices
- Live Nation/Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing model
- Venue and artist management practices that disadvantage fans
Kid Rock shared on Instagram: "I look forward to working with her and the whole administration to help fix the fiasco of buying concert tickets." He emphasized targeting bots, scalpers, venues, ticketing companies, managers, and artists who "rip off and deceive the public."
This meeting gains significance as the U.S. Department of Justice continues its antitrust investigation into Live Nation and Ticketmaster for potential monopolistic practices. The incoming administration's antitrust division, potentially led by Gail Slater, could prioritize addressing these industry concerns.
