The 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony itself will proceed as planned on February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. However, numerous associated events have been cancelled, with organizations redirecting resources to wildfire relief efforts:

Cancelled Events:

  • Universal Music Group's artist showcase and afterparty
  • Sony Music Entertainment's afterparty
  • Warner Music Group's Grammy events
  • BMG's pre-Grammy party
  • Resonator Awards ceremony
  • Milk and Honey Management events
  • Clio Music Awards (January 30)
  • NMPA celebratory events
  • Spotify Grammy parties

Still Proceeding:

  • MusiCares' Person of the Year event honoring The Grateful Dead (January 31)
  • Clive Davis pre-Grammy gala (50th anniversary)
  • Main Grammy Awards ceremony

The 2025 Grammy nominations are led by Beyoncé with 11 nods, followed by Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, and Billie Eilish with seven each. Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan each received six nominations.

Several Songwriter of the Year nominees have announced they won't attend in protest of Spotify's bundle pricing reducing songwriter royalties. The FireAid benefit concert is scheduled for January 30, with proceeds supporting wildfire relief efforts through MusiCares.
