Massive Ticketmaster Data Breach Exposes 560 Million Customers' Personal and Payment Information
A massive data breach reportedly hit Ticketmaster, affecting approximately 560 million customers' personal information. Hacker group ShinyHunters claims to have stolen 1.3 terabytes of sensitive customer data, including names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, order details, and partial credit card information.

The hackers are attempting to sell the stolen data for $500,000 on Breach Forums, a platform reportedly owned by ShinyHunters themselves. The group claims to have contacted Ticketmaster regarding the breach, but the company has not yet issued any public response.
This security incident comes at a particularly challenging time for Live Nation, Ticketmaster's parent company, as it faces both a Department of Justice antitrust suit and a multibillion-dollar class action lawsuit.
The breach raises additional concerns about ticket security, particularly following recent reports of ticket scams targeting Taylor Swift fans. A Lloyds Bank report revealed that Swifties in the U.K. lost approximately $1.2 million to ticket scams ahead of the artist's June concerts.
