The Super Bowl LIX will take place on Sunday, February 9, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The halftime show's creative direction is being handled by Kendrick Lamar's company pgLang, with production support from Diversified Production Services, Roc Nation, and Jesse Collins.

SZA and Kendrick Lamar share a long history of collaboration as former labelmates at Top Dawg Entertainment. They recently appeared on each other's albums - GNX and SOS Deluxe: Lana - and previously toured together in 2018 for the Championship Tour. Their hit collaboration "All the Stars" was released the same year.

The duo's recent work includes "Luther," which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Gloria" from Lamar's chart-topping album GNX. Following the Super Bowl performance, SZA will join Lamar on their Grand National Tour starting in April.
