Apple Music Classical Now Fully Supports Siri and CarPlay Integration
Apple Music Classical's version 2.1 introduces full Siri and CarPlay integration, marking a significant upgrade for classical music listeners. The update enables seamless access to playlists, libraries, and recommendations directly through vehicle infotainment systems.

Key Features of the Update:
- Full CarPlay integration
- Siri voice control support
- Multi-language search functionality (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch)
- Access to over 5 million classical tracks
- Advanced search capabilities for composers, artists, works, and instruments
The app, launched in March 2023, builds upon Primephonic's foundation, which Apple acquired in 2021. It maintains specialized classical music features like detailed metadata displays, composer-based searching, and curated playlists. While this update addresses major functionality requests, users continue to await native macOS and Apple TV applications.
The service remains available at no additional cost to Apple Music subscribers, with Apple promising support for more languages in future updates.
