Lisa Jeanine Findley admitted to mail fraud charges in a Memphis federal court on Tuesday. As part of a plea agreement, prosecutors dropped an additional aggravated identity theft charge. She faces sentencing on June 18, with an expected reduced sentence from the initial 20-year maximum.

The scheme involved Findley creating a fictional $3.8 million loan allegedly taken by Lisa Marie Presley, using Graceland as collateral. She then attempted to force an auction to collect a fabricated $2.85 million settlement. Findley impersonated three different individuals and created false documents, including a fraudulent foreclosure notice.

Riley Keough, Elvis Presley's granddaughter and current owner of Graceland following Lisa Marie Presley's death in January 2023, filed a lawsuit exposing the fraud. The lawsuit revealed that Findley's fictional company, Naussany Investments and Private Lending, created documents featuring a notary who confirmed never meeting Lisa Marie Presley or notarizing any related documents.

Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti, who initially investigated the case before referring it to federal authorities, praised the resolution: "Graceland matters so much to so many people around the world. All of Tennessee is glad that Graceland remains safely in the possession of Elvis' heir and that it will remain a celebrated Memphis landmark for generations to come."

Graceland, which opened as a museum in 1982, continues to operate as a major tourist attraction, drawing thousands of visitors annually to its mansion and adjacent entertainment complex owned by Elvis Presley Enterprises.
