Jay-Z Demands Accuser Reveal Identity in Diddy Lawsuit, Files Court Motion Against Anonymous Claims
Jay-Z has filed a motion demanding that the Jane Doe accuser who named him in a recent lawsuit against Diddy reveal her real identity. The lawsuit alleges that Carter and Combs sexually assaulted her when she was 13 years old at a VMAs afterparty in 2000.

Carter's attorney, Alex Spiro, argues that his client shouldn't have to defend himself "in the brightest of spotlights against an accuser who hides in complete darkness." The legal team asserts that the allegations are "patently false" and part of a "campaign of extortion" by attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents multiple accusers in cases against Combs.
While sexual abuse plaintiffs can sometimes proceed anonymously if there's a significant risk of retaliation, such cases are uncommon. Judges have already required other Jane Doe accusers in civil suits against Combs to reveal their identities.
The motion cites these previous rulings, stating that the accuser hasn't met the requirements to maintain anonymity. Spiro emphasizes that Carter deserves to know his accuser's identity, particularly given the serious nature of the allegations and their potential impact on his reputation.

Attorney Buzbee claims to represent 120 individuals allegedly victimized by Combs and has filed over a dozen civil lawsuits, many from anonymous plaintiffs.
